About Us...

John Potter was born and raised in Boston, MA and now lives in Norwood. He attended high school at the prestigious Boston Latin School where he was enrolled in numerous advanced art programs. While attending Boston Latin, he started managing a Wholesale Watch and Jewelry Supply Company in Downtown Boston's Jewelers District where he acquired useful business management practices and priceless customer service skills.

After 10 years of management, John sought a career change, which lead him back to school to earn a degree in 3D Multimedia Visual Communications from American International College. Upon graduation, John started his own design and animation firm under the name P-Train Productions where he has carried out a number of website design projects for clients, collaborated with other graphic design firms on television commercial ads, and has worked on a variety of other advertising campaigns.

Nearly 2 years after starting P-Train Productions, John was hired by American International College to teach the Graphics and Web Programs at their Braintree and Woburn Campuses. Here John thoroughly instructs students in aesthetic and technical multimedia design using Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. He provides students with real life client scenarios and solutions, assigning challenging projects where students can utilize their working knowledge of the learned software and build a strong portfolio. John consistently receives the highest teacher ratings by student evaluations.
